Make a Difference Day

In collaboration with the United Way of St. Charles, our local Make a Difference Day committee works together to promote Make a Difference Day and the concept of volunteerism in our community. Make a Difference Day is a nationally recognized day to help others, change lives, and make improvements in communities across the country. The event is sponsored by USA Weekend Magazine in partnership with the Points of Light Foundation.

United Way of America

United Way of America is the national organization dedicated to leading the United Way movement in making measurable impact in every community across America. The United Way movement includes approximately 1,400 community-based United Way organizations. Each is independent, separately incorporated, and governed by local volunteers.

Kane County Guide to Community Services is an internet based "one stop shopping" site for almost any social, health or human service need in Kane County.

The Kane Community Health Access Integrated Network

The Kane Community Health Access Integrated Network (KCHAIN) was created in 2004 to build an integrated health provider network to serve the growing need for affordable health care to low - income residents. Convened by the Kane County Health Care Department, KCHAIN consists of Kane County health care providers and advocates, including the five hospitals, three federally funded qualified health care centers, a free clinic, two health consortia, faith based and community representation
